Contact - Never Stop

Judging from their last single Never Stop, it's easy to dismiss Boston electro-pop trio Contact as mere copyists of certain Scottish act with tiny female singer and religion-inspired name.
More discerning listener will quickly spot some differences - especially more emphasis on male-female vocal interplay that brings to mind 80's German poppers Sandra and Hubert Kah

Interestingly enough, all three songs released by Contact so far vary wildly. Somewhere was classic dream pop and Fascination Shadow sounded like a lost cousin of Ladyhawke's My Delirium. The band is apparently looking for a direction to pursue. So far, their quest is fascinating to listen to! After all, not everyone supports Jack Garratt. Maybe Chvrches could learn a few things about diversity from them...
